Boudoir by Joy is a full service boudoir studio founded in 2014 by Joy Pfister.
Joy has been in front of the camera countless times as a SAG actress in her teens and 20's and represented Virginia as Mrs. Virginia at the Mrs. America Pageant and Mrs. International Pageants. This unique background enables her to coach clients not only on how to pose, but also on how get comfortable in front of the camera. She started her studio as a place to get headshots for pageants in 2010. Since then she has photographed, Miss United States, Miss Virginia USA, Miss Virginia, Mrs. Virginia and many more. She has also photographed weddings, and high school seniors for years. In 2014, her bridal clients wanted to try Boudoir, and thus was born a whole new studio.
As a photographer, her work has been published internationally both for her glamour work and weddings. Joy loves a filmy, natural, and dreamy boudoir style of photography. Her absolute favorite part of boudoir is the revel and watching clients love the pictures as much as they do.
